Monsant, formerly Tarragona-Falset, lies in the southern province of Tarragona. The Vineyards planted in the hilly countryside are surrounded by olive groves, forests and mountain peeks. The soil here is very similar to the one of neighbouring Priorat, which in its turn is responsible for very high quality wines.
